Yours Truly Chagrin Falls now has gluten free bread!

I have not been to the Yours Truly Chagrin Falls location. I have recently eaten at the Mayfield Village and Shaker Square restaurants. I was not offered GF bread either place and they do not have a GF menu. The Mayfield Village personnel seemed more familiar with GF, and I had to spend quite a bit of time explaining cross contamination to the manager at Shaker Square. I usual order grilled chicken and a salad or an omelet. If you go, please discuss your GF options with your server and management.
I’ve recently enjoyed the gluten free pancakes at the Mayfield Village location and loved the covered outdoor seating. Highly recommend.
Had gluten free pancakes, outdoors, at the Solon location. I was served 2 large cakes, a bit dry, though tasty enough with syrup.
Not sure if other Yours Truly locations have GF pancakes.
The menu still has the usual disclaimers: “Although items are gluten free, we cannot guarantee that they are prepared in a gluten free environment and may come in contact with gluten during production.”
I usually get an omelette in Chagrin Falls and am always offered the gluten free bread. I have never gotten it and they usually give me fruit instead. I have not gotten sick there. I have been to the newly reopened location.
I have been visiting the Valley View location after riding on the towpath in recent weeks. The servers have been accommodating and seem to understand GF fairly well. Unexpectedly, they brought a couple pieces of GF toast to the table (I believe it was Udi’s) and then kindly warned me that they were toasted in their “regular” toaster. (Had they told me in advance, I would have saved them the trouble.) Their GF menu can use some work as it appears to not be comprehensive. (There are quite assuredly items on the regular menu which should also find themselves on the GF menu…. perhaps the items were added after the GF menu was completed?) I’ve tried salads and omelets there thus far- they were both pretty good. I’ll continue to visit.
I just ate at the Yours Truly Shaker Square location tonight. It was my first time eating at any of the Truly Yours locations. Many items to choose from on the gluten free menu. Food was delicious!
They now have Gluten-Free Selections.
