CAP CITY DINER is located in the Columbus, Ohio area.   I was thrilled to find their extensive gluten-free menu. I was also pleased with how gluten friendly their service and waitstaff were. All sandwiches are served on a GF bun.  I think I was able to eat their french fries too. For dessert they have a GF Creme Brulee.  They also carry Redbridge Beer.

Gluten Free Menu

If you are traveling to or from the Cleveland area on I 90 passing Erie you have a gluten friendly restaurant you can stop at easily. Firebirds Restaurant is on the outside of the mall. I was very worried when our GPS sent us to the door of the food court.  It’s a very pretty restaurant with a gluten free menu and knowledgeable staff.  Their gluten-free menu is available on their website.

Paws is the casual dining option at the Bertram Inn Hotel.  I recently attended an event in the private party seating area of the restaurant where I was offered a specially printed gluten-free menu for the event guests.  I had the shrimp and grits and the ribs with slaw – both appetizers but substantial enough for a meal.   Paws has a nice cocktail lounge with a cozy dining room.  Through the glass doors – the upscale dining room, Leopard Restaurant.  While I have not eaten yet at Leopard the menu posted on-line states the kitchens willingness to accommodate all dietary requests.  (6/14)
