Petition for Gluten-Free Labeling

Did you know that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) officials made a commitment to the celiac community that the gluten-free labeling rule would be completed by the end of the third quarter of 2012 (September 30).

And, where is it?

The American Celiac Disease Alliance has given us the opportunity to express our concerns by signing a petition at the White House website.

Follow the easy signup process (your name and working email address) and add your name to the list.

The goal is 25,000 signatures by November 2nd, so encourage family, friends and colleagues to sign as well.  It would be nice to give meaning to the words “gluten free”.
