This treatment, if approved, would not eliminate the need for a gluten free diet, but it would offer some protection against gluten cross contact. I’m sure most of us would agree that would still be a huge game-changer.
Very few potential Celiac treatments have ever made it past Phase 2, so this is a very promising development.
