Hi, I’m McKenna.

I’m a wife, mom of two little girls, full-time college student studying elementary education and intervention specialist , and I am the owner of The Sweet Shell Co., a dedicated gluten-free bakery.

If you’ve ever wondered why I chose to open a gluten-free bakery, the answer has always been simple.

My mom is the reason behind it all.

If you are not already familiar with Patterson’s in Chesterland – Geauga County – it is a treat you will want to check out. The farm is adjacent to Orchard Hills Park – formerly Orchard Hills Golf Course – now a Geauga Metro Park with trails, sledding hill, covered shelters, and playground.

Back at the Farm Market…… you will find seasonal offerings and family centered events throughout the year including apples – ready to buy or ready to pick. During the growing season there are strawberry fields to pick your own, pumpkins galore, lots of produce, bakery items – traditional for non gf consumers and off the shelf and packaged goods.

Gluten free – check out the market shelves for gf flour and baking mixes, bread crumbs, crackers, cookies, and more.
